Rolex Day-Date "Ghost & Wood Dial” ref. 18038

This collectable 18k yellow gold Rolex Day-Date from 1986 with Wooden “Ghost” dial and president bracelet is in great condition.

The 36mm oyster case is in fantastic shape with sharp edges and nice and thick lugs with even brushing. It comes on its original yellow gold president bracelet with consealed clasp. The bracelet is almost stretch free.

This rare Mogano dial is also a “Ghost” dial, what makes it something really special, even more rare and beautiful. The "ghost dial" refers to the phenomenon that the text and minute markers have faded over time, due aging and exposure to sunlight. This gives this Day date an unique and vintage appearance.

The movement is running flawless, the day is indicated in English and is easily changeable with the single quick-set function. The date disc is also original with "open 6 and 9".
